Day 1 – Travel to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe with your guide and head north. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to track rhinos—the perfect start to a Big 5 journey. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in time to check into your lodge and enjoy dinner surrounded by wilderness.
Day 2 – Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise to the Falls
Begin the day with a sunrise game drive in the northern section of the park. Watch as the savannah wakes up with elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. After brunch and a short rest, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls—watch for hippos, crocs, and colorful birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and a night under the stars.
Day 3 – Top of the Falls Hike & Return to Kampala
After breakfast, visit the Top of Murchison Falls, where you’ll hike to a stunning viewpoint just meters from the roaring gorge. After soaking it in, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with lunch and scenic stops en route. Arrive in the late afternoon.
