Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Depart early from Kampala, Mbarara, or Queen Elizabeth National Park and journey southwest to Bwindi, passing through scenic hills, banana plantations, and rural towns. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your forest lodge with views over the misty valley. Rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the big day ahead.
Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking Experience & Batwa Cultural Visit
After an early breakfast, report to the Bwindi park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through dense rainforest for 1–4 hours (depending on the group’s location), then spend an awe-inspiring hour observing the gorillas. In the afternoon (or the following morning, depending on timing), visit the Batwa community to learn about their culture and connection to the forest. Return to your lodge for dinner and reflection.
Day 3 – Return Journey
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before starting your journey back to your chosen drop-off point (Kampala, Mbarara, or Queen Elizabeth). Scenic stops and lunch en route. Arrive in the late afternoon with memories that will stay with you for life.
